About the Causes

Gilda's Club NYC, named for comedian Gilda Radner, opened its flagship Clubhouse with its signature red door in 1995 as a place where people touched by any type of cancer, their families and friends can learn how to live with cancer, regardless of outcome. Reaching-Out Community Services Inc. has been a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the distribution of food and other basic items to those in need in the Brooklyn area since 1992. Through support and generous sponsorship, RCS provides expanded vital services to neighbors in all five boroughs in need of help. Visit www.rcsprograms.org

Sean Casey Animal Rescue is a Brooklyn community-based, non-profit, no-kill shelter. SCAR takes in animals in need, including rescue, confiscation, neglect, injury, etc., from private owners, zoos, shelters, and other public organizations.
